Why Choose Us: Our Results
Our marketing efforts have produced significant results for a variety of clients in the education sector. Below you can find case studies for work in SEO (search engine optimization), Google Ads, and Analytics + Tracking.
Local SEO Success
AcademyX is a software training firm offering classes in MS Office, Adobe, and programming languages. Targeting variations of the search phrase “[topic] training [city]” such as “excel training san francisco,” “photoshop training sacramento,” or simply “[topic] classes near me,” we adopted a strategy of creating highly-relevant “doorway pages” specific to each technology and city. Tactics included:
- Local schema
- Review schema and social proof
- Internal link architecture
- Latent semantic keywords associated with the city
As a result, the website ranked for a wide number of topics in each city:

Google Ads with High ROI
For an established B2B training company, ShoutHaus scaled up a number of Google Ads to a 4:1 Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) over several years. Campaign types included:
- Search and Enhanced CPC
- Smart bidding
- Google Maps ads
- Performance Max
- Display Network
- Remarketing

On-Page Optimization Wins
Nir and Far is a business and productivity website offering workshops by best-selling author Nir Eyal. It offers a range of articles and tools — for example, a schedule maker and a habit tracker. They contracted with ShoutHaus to optimize a set of blog articles using on-page SEO techniques. Tactics included:
- Keyword optimization for titles, headings, meta descriptions and content
- Content gap analysis to find SEO opportunities
- Internal linking with optimized anchor text
- Content updates and A/B testing
- Page speed optimization through caching, image size reductions, and selective suppression of JavaScript from WordPress plugins, ultimately passing Core Web Vitals
- FAQ schema
Our SEO optimization efforts drove a 300% increase in traffic over the course of two years, solely through on-page optimizations: headings and meta descriptions, structured data, improved load times, and kleyword targeting.

For one page that had been overlooked, we identified a valuable keyword target: “interesting articles.” After optimizing the page using the techniques above, the page’s traffic grew exponentially and it started ranking for over 34 keywords in the top 10 positions:

Technical SEO Improvements
DataPeeper is a SaaS firm offering account data for educational purposes. Its website suffered from slow loading, janky layout shifts with menus, sluggish interactivity, and poor display on mobile devices. ShoutHaus redid the website as a single-page site.

Dashboards and Event Tracking
CPS HR offers professional development workshops, among other services, for public sector employees. They asked us to track events on their website and develop a series of dashboards to clarify visitor behavior and conversions. We configured Google Tag Manager to send event data to Google Analytics: form submissions, clicks, and conversions. With the data from GA4 and Google Search Console, we created an 8-page portfolio of over 100 different filterable tables, interactive charts, heat maps, and graphs.

Link-Building
Stanford’s Tech Training department asked us to optimize one of its course offerings in a “nail it and scale it” approach. The chosen course was their PMP Certification Exam Prep Bootcamp. After optimizing the page for conversions, we built several links to it and built additional links to those links to ensure they would be indexed by Google. The links included:
- The Training Marketplace
- Idealist.org
- Stanford Events Calendar
- PMI.org
- Reddit.com (2)
- (and this page itself)
